HOW COULD I BE SO LONELY

How could I be so lost,
In a place I know so well?
How could I be so broken,
In a family so together?
How could I be so lonely,
Surrounded by so many?
How could I be so unhappy,
Surrounded by so much beauty?
How could I be me,
When even I remain a mystery?

Human Trafficking

Today is the international human trafficking day. Let us all join forces  and put a complete stop to trafficking in persons.
Human trafficking has become the largest illegal trade after drug trafficking. About 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked across the United States borders every year. Most of them are women and under age girls who were lured out of their home with false promises of a better life abroad only to be sold into slavery and use as sex workers.
More awareness needs to be created to protect people especially women and young girls from falling victims of this evil practices of human trafficking.

LIFE'S OWN BATTLE

Didn't want a battle,
Yet you declared war,
Each knock you gave me made me stronger than before,
I will not give up,
I will not give in,
You won't make me fall,
I won't let you win.
