Israel ground operation

The Israel military has launched a ground operation into Gaza on Thursday and called an extra 18'000 reservisit into the conflict with Hamas.
Thirteen Hamas militants used a tunnel earlier on Thursday to launch an attempted attack in Sufa near an Israeli Kibbutz, but were stopped by Israeli soldiers.
According to Mark Regev, Netanyahu's spokesman he said the main aim of Israel is to diminish the Hamas military force and to show Hamas that Gaza cannot attack Israel with impunity "we have hit Hamas hard and we will continue to hit Hamas hard".
Hamas however responded by saying Israeli ground invasion of Gaza was a dangerous step with unknown consequences and that Israel will pay a great price for it.

Gaza and Israel crisis

Thousands of people are beginning to leave Gaza as a result of Air Strikes from Israeli soldiers . Israel has warned Gaza residents to evacuate their homes or continue to face Air Strikes.
At least 173 people have been killed by Israeli Air Strikes since yesterday and about 1,250 people injured since the crisis started.
According to United Nations report, 80% of those killed are civilians.
 17,000 palestinians are currently in UN shelters.

The burial of Kefee

The body of late gospel singer, Kefee was laid to rest on Friday 11th July in her home town in Sapele, Delta state . A memorial service was held for her at a school football field in Sapele were friends and family members came to pay their last respects. She was finally buried in a beautiful mausoleum erected in her honour.
