EMBRYO TRAFFICKING

It has come to the notice of the Nigeria government that many hospitals in Nigeria especially the so called private fertility clinics and hospitals are now engaged in embryo collection and trafficking.
Many Nigerian women now sell their eggs to hospitals to make ends meet. The eggs are then collected from these women and sold out to those who's eggs have dried up or who cannot produce enough eggs needed for the fertilisation of a baby. While the rest of the eggs are exported out of Nigeria to other hospitals abroad.
These women sells their eggs to these hospitals for the price of fifty thousand to hundred thousand naira.  The implication of this practises however, is that these women suffers fom organ failure such as kidney failure, liver failure and of course infertility  after three to four years of donating and selling off their eggs.  The hospital usually do not tell the women the side effects of this practises. All they are after is  making money.
